    Notify Booking.com of Reservation Cancellation

    Cancelling a reservation with an invalid credit card and notifying Booking.com in RMS.


    Steps Required

    1. Go to the Side Menu Reservation Search in RMS.
    2. Enter the Reservation Number and select 'Search'.
    3. Select 'Change Status' and choose 'Cancel'.
    4. Select 'Yes' to confirm.
    5. Select a Cancel Reason and choose 'Ok'.
    6. Select 'Yes' to notify Booking.com.
    7. Select if Waiving the Cancellation Fee.
    8. Select 'Ok' to proceed.
    9. Save/Exit.

    Info

    Cancelling a Booking.com reservation in RMS and notifying Booking.com is only available if the Credit Card has been marked as invalid and the deadline for the guest to update has passed without new details being provided.

    Reservations that can be cancelled in RMS with a notification sent to Booking.com will display in Booking.com with a status of 'Ok, ready to cancel'.
