    Add Areas to an Existing Reservation

    Increase the number of Areas booked on a reservation in RMS.

    Additional Areas can be added to a reservation to create a Group Reservation or add to an existing Group.

    Additional Areas can be added to a reservation to create a Group Reservation or add to an existing Group.

    A Group Reservation is a collection of individual reservations linked together.

    Group Reservations can be used when multiple parties are travelling together, or when one party requires more than one Area to accommodate them.



    Category and Area are default System Labels that can be customised.



    Users will require Security Profile access to use this feature.

    1. Go to the Toolbar Menu Reservation Search in RMS.
    2. Enter the Guest Name or Reservation Number and press 'Enter'.
    3. Select the 'Add Area' icon.
    4. Optional: Select an Arrive & Depart Date.
    5. Select a Category.
    6. Select 'Get Quote'.
    7. Select a Rate Type.
    8. Select the checkbox for the Areas to book.
    9. Select 'Add to Reservation'.
    10. Select 'Proceed'.
    11. Save/Exit.



    The 'Get Quote' button will display when Auto Refresh Quote is disabled under Options.

    Properties setup as Book by Category can enter the number of Areas to book at Step 8 instead of selecting the individual Areas to book.
