    Changing the Allocated Housekeeping Tasks

    Modifying the Housekeeping Tasks allocated to a Property in RMS.


    Steps Required

    Have your System Administrator complete the following.

    1. Go to Setup > Property Options > Property Information in RMS.
    2. Select a Property and choose 'Edit'.
    3. Navigate to the 'Housekeeping' tab.
    4. Select a Housekeeping Task and choose the '<' button.
    5. Select the new Housekeeping Task and choose the '>' button.
    6. Save/Exit.
    7. Proceed to Reset Housekeeping Schedules.

    Info

    Changing the Housekeeping Tasks allocated to the Property, Category or Rate Type will only apply to reservations created following the change.

    To update existing reservations with the new Housekeeping Task setup the Reset Housekeeping Schedules tool must be used.

    Visual Guide

    Go to Setup > Property Options > Property Information in RMS.

    Select a Property and choose 'Edit'.

    Navigate to the 'Housekeeping Tasks' tab.

    Select a Housekeeping Task and choose the '<' button.

    Select the new Housekeeping Task and choose the '>' button.

    Select 'Save/Exit' to store the changes made.

    Proceed to Reset Housekeeping Schedules to apply the changes made to all existing reservations.
