Pre-Authorisation Calculation Options
The following pre-authorisation calculation options are available in RMS when using a payment gateway:
- Default Pre-Auth: A preset pre-auth amount of $1.00
- Flat Fee Per Reservation: Specify a dollar value to be used for pre-auth per reservation.
- Per Nights Stay: Specify a dollar value to be multiplied by the number of nights on a reservation for the pre-auth.
- Per Adult: Enter a dollar value to be multiplied by the number of Adults on a reservation for the pre-auth.
- % of Total Rate: Enter a percentage value to be calculated against the Total Rate of a reservation for the pre-auth.
- Total Rate + Per Nights Stay: Enter a dollar value to be multiplied by the number of nights on a reservation in addition to the Total Rate for pre-auth.
- Total Rate + % of Total Rate: Enter a percentage value to be calculated against the Total Rate, in addition to the Total Rate on the reservation to be used for the pre-auth.
- First Nights Accommodation: Use the value of the first night's accommodation charge as the pre-auth.
