    RMS Pay By Link is an exclusive feature of RMS Pay that enables users to send a secure payment link by SMS or email with a specified payment amount due from any account.

    RMS Pay By Link is an exclusive feature of RMS Pay that enables users to send a secure payment link by SMS or email with a specified payment amount due from any account.

    RMS Pay is a fully integrated payment gateway solution providing PCI compliant credit card storage and payment processing.

    The Pay By Link can be sent by SMS or email using the Form Letter or SMS Template that includes the merge field «aPayByLink_Link» and can optionally include the Amount Due merge field «aPayByLink_Amount» and/or the Pay By Link Comment merge field «aPayByLink_Comment» from the 'Accounts' Merge Table.

    The Pay By Link enables the recipient to complete a secure credit card payment for the entered value that will be processed using RMS Pay.



    The 1-Way SMS module is required to send SMS in RMS.



    System Administrators will require Security Profile access to use this feature.

    Setup

    Have your System Administrator complete the following.

    1. Go to Setup > Accounting > Accounting Options in RMS.
    2. Navigate to the 'Receipt Types' tab.
    3. Select the checkbox 'Pay By Link'.
    4. Select a Form Letter as an Email Template.
    5. Select an SMS Template.
    6. Save/Exit.



    The Form Letter or SMS Template used for Pay By Link must include the merge field «aPayByLink_Link».

    The 1-Way SMS module is required to send SMS in RMS.

    Pay By Link will now be available under the 'Receipt' menu of accounts to send a secure payment link via email or SMS.
