Pay By Link is a feature available exclusively to properties using RMS Pay as the Payment Gateway that enables sending a secure payment link by SMS or email requesting payment of a set value.
RMS Pay is a fully integrated Payment Gateway solution providing PCI compliant credit card storage and payment processing.
Pay By Link enables the recipient to complete a secure credit card payment for the entered value that will be processed using RMS Pay.
A custom expiry date and time can be set when generating a Pay By Link on the Account.
Payment made using a Pay By Link will create a Credit Card Token using the entered card information.
Triggered Correspondence can be setup to send a payment reminder a set period of time ahead of the Pay By Link Expiry.
The Pay By Link templates must be selected in setup before being available to send from an account.
The 2-Way SMS module is required to send SMS in RMS.
Account Types, Guest and Reservation are default System Labels that can be customised.
Users will require Security Profile access to use this feature.

- Go to Accounting > Quick Account Access in the Side Menu of RMS.
- Enter the Account Number or Reservation Number and select the
'Go to Account' icon.
- Select the 'Receipt' and 'Pay By Link' then choose 'SMS' or 'Email'.
- Select a Recipient.
- Optional: Select an Expiry Date & Time.
- Enter a Receipt Amount.
- Optional: Enter a Comment.
- Select 'Process'.
- Select 'Yes' to confirm.
The Pay By Link templates must be selected in setup before being available to send from an account.
The 'Pay By Link' icon will display on the Account when there is an outstanding Pay By Link.
The Expiry Date & Time will default to 14 days from now.
A Credit Card Token will be created using the card information entered to complete payment in the Pay By Link.
