TravelClick HTNG enables direct connection to iHotelier® for distribution of rates and inventory across the GDS and a network of OTAs.
The Global Distribution System (GDS) is a worldwide ecommerce network of travel industry service providers and Travel Agents. TravelClick's iHotelier® GDS connects properties to all four Global Distribution Systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre & Worldspan) with live updates of rates and availability when connected directly to RMS.
All Category & Rate combinations setup in iHotelier® must be mapped in RMS.
iHotelier® Linked Rates need to be mapped in RMS and have 'No Update' selected as their price and availability feeds off the master rate in iHotelier®. Mapping these linked rates in RMS ensures the reservations received using an iHotelier® linked rate are populated with the mapped Rate Type when delivered in RMS.
The TravelClick HTNG connection includes an optional feature to match Travel Agents by IATA Number when populating the Source Travel Agent on the reservation delivered by TravelClick. To use this feature Log a Service Request to have the TravelClick IATA Search enabled for the property.
The TravelClick IATA Search will search RMS for a matching Travel Agent by IATA Number. If no match is found the Travel Agent on the reservation will populate as 'TravelClick HTNG'.

Category, Area & Rate are default System Labels that can be customised.
The RMS Online module is required to connect to TravelClick.
System Administrators will require Security Profile access to use this feature.

Have your System Administrator complete the following.
- Contact TravelClick and advise of the property's intention to connect.
- Go to Setup > Online Bookings > Channel Management in RMS.
- Select the View of 'Unconnected'.
- Select ‘TravelClick HTNG’ and choose 'Connect'.
- Navigate to the 'ConnectionInformation' tab.
- Enter the TravelClick BID Number & Password.
- Select the required Availability Option.
- Optional: Select a Colour.
- Optional: Select a Market Segment.
- Optional: Select a Booking Source.
- Optional: Select the checkbox ‘Use Source Travel Agent’.
- Optional: Select the checkbox 'Hide from Guest Portal'.
- Select the 'Add Category/Rate Types' button.
- Enter the iHotelier® Room Type & Rate Type Codes from the TravelClick Correlation Table.
- Save/Exit.
- Select the RMS Category & Rate Type for each combination.
- Select the checkbox ‘No Update’ on all iHotelier Linked Rates.
- Save/Exit.
All Category & Rate combinations setup in iHotelier® must be mapped in RMS.

Select 'Save/Exit' to store the changes made and leave the Channel Connection setup.
Rates and availability will begin to sync to iHotelier using the mapping combinations entered.
