    Automated Pre Check-in Reminder

    Setup Triggered Correspondence to send an SMS reminder for guests who have not completed Pre Check-in the Guest Portal in RMS.

    Steps Required

    Have your System Administrator complete the following.

    1. Go to Setup > Correspondence > Triggered Correspondence in RMS.
    2. Select 'Add'.
    3. Enter a Description.
    4. Select a Delivery Method.
    5. Select the Correspondence.
    6. Select the checkbox 'Only Include Confirmed Status'.
    7. Enter & Select the Time Trigger with an Action of 'Res - Arrival'.
    8. Select the Recipient.
    9. Select 'Save'.
    10. Select 'Apply to Existing Reservations'.
    11. Select 'Yes' to Confirm.
    12. Save/Exit.

    Automate sending Pre Check-in reminders with a time trigger of several hours prior to arrival to ensure guests complete their mandatory registration prior to their arrival at the property.


    Triggered Correspondence can only be sent to the selected recipients if a valid mobile number or email address has been saved against the recipients profile.


     The 1-Way SMS Module is required to send SMS from RMS. 


    International SMS 

    The 'Country' field selection made on the Guest Profile will be used for sending SMS internationally. If no Country is set, the SMS will send using the Property's Country Code and may not reach the intended recipient if it is an international guest.

    Visual Guide

    Go to Setup > Correspondence > Triggered Correspondence in RMS.

    Select 'Add' to create a new Triggered Rule.

    Enter a Description.

    Select a Delivery Method.

    Select the Correspondence to be sent.

    Select the checkbox 'Only Include Confirmed Status'.

    Enter & Select the Time Trigger with an Action of 'Res - Arrival'.

    Select the Recipient.

    Select 'Save' to store the changes made.

    Select 'Apply to Existing Reservations'.

    Select 'Yes' to Confirm.

    Select 'Save/Exit' to store the changes made.
