    Setup Guest Details as Mandatory

    Setting up to require users to complete Guest Details as mandatory in RMS.


    Steps Required

    Have your System Administrator complete the following.

    1. Go to Setup > Users > Field Maintenance in RMS.
    2. Select the required User.
    3. Select the required Guest Details field.
    4. Select the checkbox 'On Save' or 'On Check-in'.
    5. Save/Exit.

    Info

    Fields setup as Mandatory on Save will require a user to enter or make a selection prior to being able to save changes to new or existing reservations.

    Fields setup as Mandatory on Check-in will not allow the reservation to be changed to 'Arrived' status without those fields being completed.

    Visual Guide

    Go to Setup > Users > Field Maintenance in RMS.

    Select the required User.

    Select the required Guest Details field.

    Select the checkbox 'On Save' or 'On Check-in'.

    Select 'Save/Exit' to store the changes made.

    The selected user will now be required to complete that guest information using the selected option of 'On Save' or 'On Check-in'.
