    Privacy Opt Out

    Information on guest anonymisation using GDPR in RMS.

    Under GDPR regulations, individuals have the right to withdraw their consent to the collection or retention of their personal information.

    Guests with access to the Guest Portal have the ability withdraw their consent by viewing their own guest profile and unticking 'I agree with the Privacy Policy'.

    Guests cannot opt out of the Privacy Policy when they have an outstanding account balance.


    Guests will be shown a warning when unticking this option and will need to confirm the anonymisation of their personal information.

    Once confirmed, the guest's information will be replaced with the word 'Anonymous' and cannot be retrieved.

    RMS users can anonymise a guest profile on the individual's behalf by changing 'Privacy Opt In' to 'No'.
