      Default Reservation Status

      Setup the default Reservation Status when creating new reservations in RMS.

      Steps Required

      Have your System Administrator complete the following.

      1. Go to Setup > Property Options > General Information in RMS.
      2. Navigate to the 'Reservations' tab.
      3. Select the Default Reservation Status.
      4. Save/Exit.
      5. Log out.

      The default Reservation Status will be the status used for all new reservations in RMS.

      Selecting a default status of 'Unconfirmed' can be used to indicate reservations where no pre-payment or deposit has been obtained to secure the booking. 

      The default Reservation Status of 'Unconfirmed' enables converting reservations to 'Quote' status.

      Visual Guide

      Go to Setup > Property Options > General Information in RMS.

      Navigate to the 'Reservations' tab.

      Select the Default Reservation Status.

      Select 'Save/Exit' to store the changes made.

      Log out of RMS to allow the database to update with the changes made.
