    Category Grouping

    Setup a Grouping for a Category in RMS.

    Groupings can be setup and applied to Categories to simplify reporting on multiple items together.

    Groupings can be setup and applied to Categories to simplify reporting on multiple items together.

    Category Groupings can be used to track Category performance across a range of reports or to filter the display by a set Grouping option.



    Users will require Security Profile access to use this feature.

    Setup

    Have your System Administrator complete the following.

    1. Go to Setup > Lookup Tables > Grouping in RMS.
    2. Select the 'Add' icon.
    3. Select the Group Heading as 'Category'.
    4. Enter a Grouping Description.
    5. Save/Exit.
    6. Go to Setup > Category/Area in RMS.
    7. Select the 'Edit' icon on an existing Category.
    8. Navigate to the 'Category Details' tab.
    9. Select the Category Grouping.
    10. Save/Exit.

    Select the 'Add' icon.

    Select the Group Heading as 'Category'.

    Enter a Grouping Description.

    Select 'Save/Exit' to store the changes made.

    Go to Setup > Category/Area in RMS.

    Select the 'Edit' icon on an existing Category.

    Navigate to the 'Category Details' tab.

    Select the Category Grouping.

    Select 'Save/Exit' to store the changes made.
