Steps Required
- Go to Reservations > Guest Search in RMS.
- Enter the Guest Name and select 'Search'.
- Select the Guest Profile and choose 'Edit'.
- Toggle the Banned List field to 'Yes'.

The Guest Banned List in RMS enables properties to keep records of guests banned from staying at the property.
Maintaining up-to-date contact information and regularly merging duplicate guest profiles ensures that Banned List records are as accurate as possible.
When a guest on the Banned List makes a reservation and the contact details provided match an existing guest record their profile will display in red text in searches and show the Banned List 'Yes' field when viewing the guest profile.
Displaying the 'Banned List' field on Guest Details in Field Maintenance is required to use this feature.
Visual Guide
Go to Reservations > Guest Search in RMS.

Enter the Guest Name and select 'Search'.

Select the Guest Profile and choose 'Edit'.

Toggle the Banned List field to 'Yes'.

Select 'Save/Exit' to store the changes made.

This Guest Profile will now display red in Guest Searches and show the Banned List field in red when viewing the Guest Profile.
