Common Areas are shared spaces guests can be provided access to during their stay.
Additional setup or configuration may be required with the third party being used for access control.
Users will require Security Profile access to use this feature.
The Door Locks module must be enabled in the Module Market to use this feature.

Setup
Have your System Administrator complete the following.
- Go to Setup > Door Locks > Common Areas in RMS.
- Select the
'Add' icon.
- Enter the Common Area.
- Navigate to the 'Properties' tab.
- Select the
'Add' icon.
- Select the Properties and choose
the icon.
- Select
'Apply/Exit'.
- Save/Exit.

Enter the Common Area.
Navigate to the 'Properties' tab.
Select the 'Add' icon.
Select the Properties and choose the icon.

These Common Areas will be available for selection when cutting keys on a reservation in RMS.
