    Flexible Departure Dates

    Creating reservations for guests with unknown Departure Dates in RMS.

    When creating a reservation for a trade person or offsite contractor coming to complete work it may be undetermined when the exact finish date will be.

    In these scenarios it can be advisable to create the reservation for their accommodation with a departure date several days after the anticipated end date.

    This can be particularly helpful when availability is limited during peak periods.

    A Reservation Note can be added to indicate to all staff working front desk how to proceed with this reservation.

    When the work order is completed ahead of schedule and the contractor departs, the reservation Departure Date can be altered to the shortened length of stay to open the Area back up for sale on those remaining dates.
