SMS From Name
Setup a name to display for a Property sending SMS in RMS.
SMS From Name will be displayed as the sender in place of the Property's Mobile Number when using the 1-Way SMS module.

SMS From Name will be displayed as the sender in place of the Property's Mobile Number when using the 1-Way SMS module.
The SMS From Name will prevent replying to the SMS and cannot be used with the 2-Way SMS module.
Limitations by some carriers including carriers in the United States will prevent delivery of an SMS when an alphanumeric SMS From Name is used in place of the mobile number.
The Property Name merge field can be inserted into the SMS Template to identify the sender to the recipient of the SMS sent in RMS.
The 1-Way SMS module is required to use the SMS Name when sending an SMS in RMS.
The SMS From Name is limited to elevent characters.
System Administrators will require Security Profile access to setup this feature.

Have your System Administrator complete the following.
- Go to Setup > Property Options > Property Information in the Side Menu of RMS.
- Select the
'Edit' icon on an existing Property. - Navigate to the 'Features' tab.
- Enter the SMS From Name.
- Save/Exit.
