    Rate Table: Extended Stay - Night of the Week

    Setup an Extended Stay Rate Table with prices by night of the week in RMS.

    Steps Required

    Have your System Administrator complete the following.

    1. Go to Charts > Rate Manager in RMS.
    2. Select 'Rates'.
    3. Select 'Rate Table'.
    4. Select 'Add'.
    5. Enter a Description.
    6. Select the Structure as 'Direct Rate'.
    7. Select the Format as 'Extended Stay'.
    8. Select the Based On as 'Night of the Week'.
    9. Enter the Person Base.
    10. Enter the Nightly Rate Amount.
    11. Enter the Weekly Rate Amount.
    12. Enter the Number of Weekly Cycles.
    13. Enter the Monthly Rate Amount.
    14. Enter the Number of Monthly Cycles.
    15. Optional: Enter Length of Stay Restrictions.
    16. Save/Exit.

    The Extended Stay Rate Table by Night of the Week will determine prices for reservations in excess of weeks or months by the night of the week the reservation date falls on.

    Length of Stay Restrictions entered on the Rate Table will override any set on the Rate Type or Rate Period.

    Setup a Rate Type, Rate Period and Rate Lookup to make a Rate Type available for selection on a reservation or use the New Rate Wizard.

    Visual Guide

    Go to Charts > Rate Manager in RMS.

    Select 'Rates'.

    Select 'Rate Table'.

    Select 'Add' to create a new Rate Table.


    Enter a Description.

    Select the Structure as 'Direct Rate'.

    Select the Format as 'Extended Stay'.

    Select the Based On as 'Night of the Week'.

    Enter the Person Base.

    Enter the Nightly Rate Amount.

    Enter the Weekly Rate Amount.

    Enter the Number of Weekly Cycles.

    Enter the Monthly Rate Amount.

    Enter the Number of Monthly Cycles.

    Optional: Enter Length of Stay Restrictions.

    Select 'Save/Exit' to store the changes made.

    Setup a Rate TypeRate Period and Rate Lookup to make a Rate Type available for selection on a reservation or use the New Rate Wizard.
