RMS is optimised for Google Chrome & Mozilla Firefox and can be run using the two most recent versions of any of the following Internet browsers:

Cookies & JavaScript must be enabled in the browser to use RMS.
Accessing RMS in a browser not mentioned above may result in loss of functionality on features unsupported by the browser.
For the best user experience install the RMS Application.
Set the zoom level on the browser to 100% or press F11 to enter Full Screen mode for optimal display.
RMS Application
The RMS Application is compatible with the following screen resolutions.

Compatible mobile devices will default to the mobile view of the RMS Application.
Tablets unable to use the above listed screen resolution can toggle to the mobile view for a better experience.
Compatible Devices
A portable version of RMS 9+ can be accessed on a smart phone or tablet connected to the internet with one of the following operating systems.

Computer Operating Systems

Microsoft discontinued support and security update for Windows 7 effective 14th January 2020.
Continuing to operate RMS using Windows 7 following this date could violate security requirements under PCI DSS (PCI compliance).
Minimum Recommended System Requirements
The below recommendations are for the optimum user experience.
Any computer with the minimum browser requirements will be able to access and operate RMS.

Internet Connection Requirements
RMS strongly recommends a dedicated internet connection for office use only.
Sharing a connection with guests can cause significant network congestion which will result in poor application performance.
Below figures are example data transfer sizes for the most frequently used parts of the system based on a database with 200 Areas.

RMS recommends the below bandwidth requirements for a connection shared by 3-4 moderately active users:
Minimum Bandwidth
Download speed of 0.5 Megabits per second.
Upload speed of 0.25 Megabits or more.
Recommended Bandwidth
Download speed of 1.5 Megabits per second or more.
Upload speed of 0.25 Megabits or more.
Connection requirements will vary depending on usage of RMS.
Minimum bandwith requirements will not achieve the best performance.
Internet connections shared between more than 3-4 users will have higher bandwidth requirements.
Recommended Printers
Any printer can be used for printing in RMS.
The below printers are recommended based on proven above average print speed performance.

Terminal Services / Remote Desktop
RMS does not recommend using terminal services or a remote desktop environment for operating the RMS application due to the graphic intensive nature.
Multiple benchmarks and real-world examples have shown that running locally, even on slow hardware outperforms remote desktop in most scenarios.
RMS has been optimised for both Google Chrome & Mozilla Firefox. Some operating environments will experience notable speed improvements in one of these browsers over the other.
In some environments Google Chrome performs better when the option 'Use hardware acceleration when available' is disabled.
