    Reservation Check-in

    Check-in an arrived reservation in RMS.

    Reservations can be checked-in from the Reservation Screen when using the Check-in/Check-out feature in RMS.

    Information

    The Reservation Screen provides central management of individual bookings and their guests in RMS.

    The Check-in/Check-out feature enables accurately recording the movements of guests in and out of the property for their stays.

    Checking-in a reservation will update the reservation status to 'Arrived' and update the Arrive Time with the time the reservation was checked-in.



    Fields displayed on the Reservation Screen can be customised using Field Maintenance.

    Additional tabs will display depending on the setup and modules used in RMS.

    Category and Area are default System Labels that can be customised.



    Users will require Security Profile access to the Reservation Screen and Reservation Functions use this feature.

    1. Go to the Toolbar Menu Reservation Search in RMS.
    2. Enter the Reservation Number.
    3. Press 'Enter' on the keyboard.
    4. Select the 'Check-in' icon.
    5. Select 'Yes' to confirm.

    Enter the Reservation Number and press 'Enter' on the keyboard.

    Select the  'Check-in' icon.

    Select 'Yes' to confirm.

    The reservation will now be updated to 'Arrived' status and the Area Status updated to 'Occupied'.
